It is free to walk around the castle grounds and you can pay for museums or churches along the way if you want to visit them. We visited the History museum and frankly found it boring. The castle grounds are vast and you can get a bird's eye view of Budapest from Fisherman's Bastion.
Hungary is known to be safe, peaceful and easy to travel around. Female tourists can feel totally comfortable, even traveling alone. While the city never sleeps, there's no reason to take see it all in a rush. If you take your time, you'll learn and experience more of Budapest and its intricacies.
Exploring the Baths in Full: Szechenyi Baths, being a sizable attraction, deserve a leisurely exploration. Plan your visit for at least 4-5 hours to indulge in all it has to offer. This ample time allows you to soak, swim, and unwind at your own pace, ensuring you don't miss any of the Baths' rejuvenating features.
Take along a bathing suit, flip-flops and a towel. There are lockers and cabins available in the changing rooms to store your belongings while you're enjoying a soak, but unless you're wheeling a suitcase, a locker is more than sufficient.
